Find modern grace

Home to Bodrum, Turkey

Since travel is definitely on the mind during the Fall (I think it’s the best time to travel), I want to share this home with you that is located in Bodrum, Turkey. It is called the Halicarnassus Suites, and has been outfitted as a short-term rental through Boutique Homes. I am a huge fan of Boutique Homes, since, at least from this vantage place, the rentals available on this site open up a whole world of truly unique destinations, people, and design that would be hard to find through other means. Renting a private home, I think, is just infused with authenticity and intimacy and is a unique and meaningful way to travel.¬† The Halicarnassus Suites, for example, consist of three private apartments each decorated with the colors and curved forms typical of this part of the world. The apartments are located in a traditional stone house, and from the property you can see the Yalkikavak Marina, Turkey, the Samos Islands, Greece, and Gundogan, Turkey. All of this you could see while relaxing in the outdoor Balinese-style salt water pool. Rates are 130 euros for two per night.
